Characteristics
This material can be used in a wide range of applications as a cost-effective alternative. The addition of phosphorus to the material constituents improves hardness, and the material can also withstand relatively high loads. However, it has a low degree of toughness, so care is needed when the method used for mounting to the motor is caulking.
