With the steep rise in copper prices, we’d like to switch to inexpensive iron-copper alloys and reduce costs, but we can’t compromise on performance and noise levels...

Our solution

We achieved 50% cost reduction by switching to our cost-reducing material "FCS-500" while maintaining performance level as a bearing.

Product features

FCS-500, which is copper-coated iron powder, can achieve the same noise levels as copper materials.

Can we eliminate oil leakage from the fan motor bearing and chain?

Our solution

Poreless finishing prevents oil leakage from the bearing! Long life was also achieved.

By sealing the outer circumference of the bushing, oil leakage was reduced, inner pressure was increased, and oil film strength was increased.

We used No1-HG, containing solid lubricant (carbon), and grease/oil to solve the problem.

Graphite-rich material

Customer’s request

Is there a bearing which can withstand low speed and a high load?

Our solution

By increasing the graphite (a solid lubricant) content, slidability can be improved even in conditions where oil film formation is difficult.

Product features

Sliding is possible in a state close to dry metal.

Noise reduction

This is a new lubrication method that does not use oil, and it can also be used in very low temperatures!

Customer’s request

Due to low operating temperatures, the oil hardens and cannot lubricate well...

Our solution

Through lubrication using carbon fibers, we obtained lubricating ability even in low temperatures.

Product features

In a low-temperature environment, the viscosity of oil increases and its fluidity is also poor, making contact between the shaft and bearing easy to occur. By using carbon fiber in the role of cushioning/solid lubricant on the shaft and bearing surface, metal contact between the shaft and bearing when the motor starts can be prevented and noise can be reduced.

A major reduction of noise in a low-temperature environment!

Customer’s request

In low-temperature environments, noise from the motor tends to occur.
Is there some way to solve this?

Our solution

By using LF metal with a film coating on the surface, we achieved noise reduction.

Product features

The LF metal creates an effective resin by combining fluorine and metal and reduces the friction coefficient. It not only reduces noise but also helps improve abrasion resistance.

We want to reduce noise in the fan motor bearing by some means or other...

Our solution

By increasing oil film strength and making the boundary lubrication (the sliding between metals) more similar to fluid lubrication, we succeeded in reducing noise.
